How I became Cellist
I am the youngest of four sons in a music loving family. My mother and my brother Ludger played the piano and both the elder brothers, Toni and Hannes the violin. Even before starting elementary schooling, I visited the municipal music school. We learnt to read notes and practiced rhythms. Apart from that I played the recorder. Unfortunately I was never good at theory.
